Avast/AVG Banned By FTC

Back in 2020 Avast/AVG was caught selling its user’s browsing data while at the same time claiming it was protecting their privacy. Like they say … you get what you pay for and when you don’t pay anything for your security then these are the risks you take. Laptop Repairability

Unfortunately I have experienced the lack of repairability of Chromebooks many times over the last few years. I don’t think the manufacturers do a good enough job informing the consumer that a Chromebook is basically a “consumable and disposable” purchase.
