I would say that the vast majority of Windows 10/11 computers that come through my shop are running some type of “Free” anti-virus software while the one that they already “Paid” for is sitting idle. I have been recommending Window Security (formerly Defender) for Windows 10/11 computers for some time. It just never made sense to me to trust something as important as virus/malware protection to some offshore company offering “Free” protection when I already paid for quality protection from the same company that built Windows.
